Waitrose Supporting MND Local Branch
We are thrilled to announce that Waitrose in Oxford Road, Reading, have accepted our branch for their green token scheme during the month of December. They will be promoting it from 2nd December. So now's the time to offload that stash of green tokens and vote for our Reading & West Berkshire branch at the Oxford Road supermarket during this festive month.
4th December 8:00 till 9:00 pm Sing For Fun Concert Speen Church, Speen Lane
The Newbury Sing For Fun Community Choir will have their end of term Christmas Concert at Speen Church on 4th December. This is a short concert of the songs they have learned during the Autumn term. A collection tin raising money for Motor Neurone Disease will be available.
Friday 7th December Thatcham Christmas Lights and Fayre 5pm till 7.15 pm
Lin Jenkins will be hosting a stall at the Thatcham Christmas Lights and Fayre, in the Broadway, Thatcham on 7th December
Reading Santa Run Sunday 9th December 10 am Start, Forbury Gardens
A 5km and a 1km course. Race runs through the town centre including the Oracle and Riverside. Raise money for MND and other good causes. Santa and Elves suits supplied free to keep. More information at Reading Santa Run
15th December Art Cafe
Come and join us at this festive time of the year for some coffee and cake, for a very good cause on Saturday, 15th December, at the Art Cafe, The Old Rectory Stables, High Street, Whitchurch-on-Thames near Reading, RG8 7DF
Vivace Voices Christmas Concert, St Catherine of Siena Church, Tilehurst Wednesday 19th December at 2.30 pm
The Vivace Voices Christmas Concert is being held on 19th December. Tickets are available on the door priced at £5 and this includes a programme and afternoon tea. All proceeds will go to the Motor Neurone Disease Association. For more details please visit: Vivace Voices
